What is Vieue Mosaic?

Vieue Mosaic is the way you see art, and, in turn, the way a work of art draws you into its world. It is what allows the artist to connect their imagination with other people and impose upon them a new reality, a new world that exists only in the minds of those that can feel it. Vieue Mosaic is a connection between literature and its reader that implants seeds within the mind, and then nourishes the imagination until it blossoms something real- that isn’t there.

Look at my featured image and tell me what you see. Shards of broken glass? Hardly! You see something that truly isn’t there, and what is there is not what you see. Why do you envision people where broken glass exist? Because that is what the creator intended and that’s art. This effect is what I call a vieue mosaic. It’s not technical, it’s not restrictive – it just is. Vieue mosaic is a fluid ability to create art that draws in the mind, ignites the imagination, and moves the heart!

“Art is magic delivered from the lie of being truth.” – Theodor Adorno

Why do you feel such disdain for the antagonist of that book you like? How can mere words cause your heart to feel heavy, or a sadness to overtake you? Because that is the superpower you get for being born human. Empathy. Curiosity.  Passion. All artist forms in themselves, one only needs to assert it. Vieue Mosaic is an expression of a person’s imaginative power to travel into another o the world created by the author.

So full speed ahead. Buckle yourself into your rocket ship, and take yourself to new worlds that only exist in a secret place- your imagination.

  1. You mentioned an artist losing his audience. I wish I had an audience. Anyway… I draw pictures. The way I look at an audience is either the Author of a piece wants the public to stand in awe of his/her ability to create the illusion of reality or the subject is laid bare to the whatever the imagination of the viewer, whatever the viewer decides the image is..I guess it is Concrete by determination of the artist or Ambiguous left to the viewer. I do not know how you could fit this into your analogy for I am talking about just one picture/ image not the whole genre of film. Well that is my silly two cents worth. Thank you for your time.

    1. The universe the artist creates is the Illusion of Reality you mention. I’m more concerned with how the art draws them in to whichever end. Be it concrete theme or abstract illusion. I listen to a lot of jazz and the reason I replay the same song over and over could be due to the concrete song or the improvisation in between the notes. I am not trying to measure the complexity or the simplicity of the work, but how well the artist draws his subjects into either.
According to the few sketches I saw on your site, your drawings evokes a deep emotional sense through spiritual imagery. There is definitely an audience for it out there if you target it correctly. That type of work can have very high vieue mosaic given the audience looks for a spiritual outlet to help them lose themselves in reflection.

      1. Thank you for checking out my work and your critique. I like Jazz as well. I enjoy Thelonious Monk, ( favorite album Plus Two Live at the BlackHawk). I like pretty much everything ever done by Miles Davis, ( favorite being, Kind of Blue). I enjoy the idea of free jazz, tho I would rather play it myself than listen to anyone. So I am not so into Ornette Coleman. I love the whole vamping a riff idea. With the trapset, I love the elegance of high hat and ride cymbal, you know that tap tap tap. I am going to contemplate your idea of HOW i draw the viewer IN and to what END. I am not sure how deliberate so of my work is, or if I want a preconceived notion that might limit the chaos, play, and spontaneity of the process itself. Your ideas are fresh. My notion of artist and his viewer stems from a book entitled, ” the Social History of Art” by Arnold Hauser. It is archaic. I feel privileged to have gotten to pass ideas back and forth with you. Your assessment of my sketches is very accurate.
